So, last year my wife and I came to the banquet, and I asked about whether or not their would be non-dairy items on the menu. This led to others chiming in, from those who were asking about gluten free, vegan, or similar.
I know you all did your best, but there were some... hiccups. The lady who was indicating what didn't have dairy was wrong in a couple of cases, which could've been bad for my wife if she hadn't looked at the items in question more closely.
This is just a repeat of last year, really. Could we get a better idea of what sort of allergens will be in individual dishes this time around? Anaphylaxis isn't something I want to mess around with, and if we have to, we can go find food before the banquet. I'd just rather know ahead of time.

In all the rushing around I had almost forgotten to ask this myself for certain food sensitivities, such as refined corn sweeteners (HFCS), shellfish, and mushrooms.
Seconded.
I am attending Paizocon with my son who is allergic to peanut and tree nuts.
I did not buy banquet tickets due to a lack of certainty around this issue.
It might be better to contact the banquet/catering staff at the hotel directly. Especially if you can talk with the banquet manager from last year and remind them about the snafu.

Thanks for starting this thread everyone. We need to implement a better way for collecting these kinds of special needs during the banquet ticket purchase process but that is code we don't yet have. In the meantime I will work with the hotel staff to see if they can do a better job listing the ingredients for each dish at the banquet.
For those that are vegetarian, vegan, or have extensive food allergies, the hotel is more than happy to provide an alternate meal catering to those needs. These meals I need to coordinate ahead of time with both the hotel and the attendee so please email me at jeff.alvarez@paizo.com with the subject PaizoCon 2018 Banquet Food Allergy and I'll begin creating a list.
