Armor Storm's Hammer Fist With Runes?

Rules Questions

Hey guys,

So i am making a Armor Storm Soldier, and after reading the rules i cant seem to find a yes or no answer. Can you put Fusions on your Hammer Fist? it states that it uses your glove on your armor as a battleglove. does that mean you can put Runes on that part of your armor?

I don't think so, because the glove itself doesn't have a weapon item level that it would need to determine what level of fusions you can apply.

A reasonable houserule might be for your GM to treat the armor level as the weapon level.

It says i use a battleglove of equal or lower lvl. so until 10 it would just count as a lvl 1 battle glove. i was gunna ask the dm if he was ok with it.
Our group is new to starfinder so he wanted me to find a rule for it. figured i would ask.

No, Xenocrat is correct. The attack isn't actually a weapon, it's only "treated" as a battleglove during the attack itself. Unarmed strike is a basic weapon with a level of "none," so it can't hold any fusions.

Your GM is of course free to houserule it; I don't think it would be overpowered per se, but being able to apply fusions to a weapon that costs you nothing somewhat runs counter to the intent of the system.

Ok thanks, just didnt know if it made the armor the weapon.

i would be fine with a house rule allowing it but yeah technically it would not work
