This is a branch off of We stopped playing Starfinder yesterday, here's why thread.
Let me suggest something that would be extremely helpful in evaluating character the progression of character equipment.
People who have access to a D&D 3.5 Dungeon Master's Guide, check out pages 112 to 127. These pages list the "expected" stats (ave hit points, Armor Class, attack bonuses, saves, expected gear, etc.) for each class at each level.
Should Paizo choose to create a Starfinder equivalent to the Game Mastery Guide, they should include that information.
In the meantime, what do my fellow players/GMs think that a member of each class actually have at each level.

Alternately I'd look at the Alien archive/monster manual for the expected CR threats and the scores and stats they possess. It'll give a semi-decent idea of how the challenges will be hitting and resisting, so they can be benchmarks of what PCs need to avoid getting hurt and minimums needed to strike back.
Alien stat blocks (to me) read a little high, but I'm presuming its because they're not including all the feat/etc nitpicking PCs do and otherwise presuming threats have picked appropriate enough, but not min/maxing their own abilities to be logical builds.
