Hi Redgar,
I'm sorry to hear that your Core Rulebook seems to be having problems! We are still replacing books with the binding issue, but how to handle it will depend on where it was purchased from.
If you purchased the book from another retailer, the first step is to check with them to see if they are able to offer an exchange or a refund. They should be able to receive a replacement or credit via their distributor for faulty books. If they are unable to find a solution, then what you'll want to do is email us at customer.service@paizo.com with pictures of the damage, the name/location of the retailer, and a good shipping address to send the replacement to. If you've got a shipping address attached to your Paizo.com account, just let us know and we can set up the replacement to go there.
If you purchased the book from us, still send in the pictures for us to pass on to the manufacturer, and let us know the order number for your book.
