Efficient bandolier - no sniper weapon support?

The bandolier says its pockets correspond with certain types of weapons, but sniper weapons isn't on the list. Is there any reason I can't just put the sniper ammo in the longarm or heavy weapon pockets? It's not like the pocket is too small.

Listed under "Rounds, longarm and sniper" in the item list so I would suggest that is the pocket used.
