The Paizo Offices are mostly empty and dark, save for those cubicles devoted to Organized Play. Those have been strewn with tinsel, and Compton’s gnomes have been hard at work helping sanction splatbooks and modules for Organized Play.
(And before you ask, OF COURSE they are gnomes not elves. What elf in his right mind would wear jingle hats and pointed curly shoes? What elf would spend all her time making treats for the good little Pathfinders around the world? What elf would think that shoveling out reindeer stables (for of course the Organized Play team keeps a herd of flying reindeer and a sleigh on hand at all times to get Tonya to all her conventions) and spending long hours working overnight in a workshop would be fun? For that matter... What elf would be this SHORT?)
In amongst the group of regular blue-shirted Paizo gnomes is a temporary worker hired just for the holiday season. Her name is Calpurnia Underhall Poshkettle, but all her friends call her Cup. Cup lays down presents for all the Organized Play staff. A gift certificate with a massage for Tonya. A little miniature leshy doll, complete with an acorn cap, for her fellow gnome, Linda. A Lego rocket ship for Thursty. And for the Compton, the bard himself, a song. She turns on the office web cams, and hits ‘record’ as she starts to sing.
