Liberty's Edge 2/5

Boons you acquire can be displayed next to the scenario instead of being added to your hand in order to fulfill the victory condition.

"The difficulty to acquire boons is increased by 1d4. When you
acquire a boon, you may display it next to the scenario."

Several of the Henchmen (not to mention character abilities) let you draw boons from locations (and the box!) Does drawing cards fulfill the requirement for acquiring? Normally I would guess this is a case of cards do what they say, but in this scenario my group was very divided about that.

This probably should be in the general rules forum, but there are specific consequences in this scenario that called it into questions for my players and I.

"Acquire" is a specific term; drawing from the box is not the same as acquiring. Generally, you have to succeed at a check to acquire for a card to be acquired; if there are exceptions to that, they would specifically use the word "acquire."
