Scenario text is "Build the blessings deck with only 15 cards. When you would acquire a bles sing, put it on the bottom of the blessings deck instead. If you
cannot advance the blessings deck, you do not fail the scenario; instead, bury a card from your discard pile, your hand, and your deck.
First, is this everyone doing it or just the player who's turn it is?
Second, when we played it, we got to a temporary close situation at the "Canyon" location, which says the closing condition is "Encounter and acquire the bottom card of the blessings deck", which was totally emptied.
How do we reconcile not having any blessings to encounter?
What we did was, essentially, add the following text to the end of "Instead, bury 1 card from your discard pile, your hand, and your deck. Draw a blessing from the box and place it in the blessings pile, and take a normal turn."
This way, we had a blessing in the pile to encounter in order to close Canyon. Otherwise, if you can't temporary close Canyon, losing would be more likely.
But, this does need an errata clarification.

1. Only the person advancing the blessings deck.
2. You have to acquire the card to close the location; if there's no cards to acquire you can't close it. Find a blessing somewhere (then move so you're at the empty Canyon before the end of your turn), move the Villain there and defeat it, or close the Canyon before it becomes an issue. Sorry.

+1 to Parody.
No errata is needed. It's part of the puzzle the scenario presents. You've got to plan in advance that you need a blessing in the blessing deck to close the Canyon (w/o defeating a villain there, that is).
You *do* read the When Closing criteria of every location before you start the scenario, don't you? (How else would you know who to send where?)
