Survival of the Fittest- The biological history of being both predator and prey has assisted the evolution of the Bastian race receiving a +2 racial bonus to initiative, survival, and acrobatics checks.

Authority- The rule of the Bastian Pride is well known throughout the Void to all races who have crossed or traded with them. Twice per day a Bastian gains advantage on bluff, diplomacy, or intimidate checks.

Flavor:
The Bastian race originates from planet Felis located in the Ibus cluster. Felis is temperate with slow rotation period contributing to long hot days and equally long nights. A matriarchal society the Bastian are tribal. The overarching government, The Pride is populated by the ruling female of each tribe, or a delegate.

Decisions by The Pride traditionally favor prudence and caution which delayed the development of Drift technology for nearly a century. For the adventurous Bastian, leaving Felis means cutting ties with strongly bonded family. Space travel attracts the young, the adventurous, and the outcast. Those Bastian who are spacebound are generally attracted to warmth, wealth, and making a name for themselves.

The majority of Bastian prefer a terrestrial existence and are slow to adapt to changes. Space travel specifically has changed the biology of the race leading to taller, leaner Bastian where their terrestrial cousins are typically shorter and heavier. Terrestrial Bastian live longer lives on average than their space faring counterparts.

Starfinder doesn't use advantage persay, so you should spell it out, two rolls pick the better yada yada. The other thing I would say is you skill bonus including initiative seems a bit more powerful than the usual. Initiative is worth more than a normal skill in general.

Great comments. The reason I went for initiative is to balance the weakness of constitution. Sure the character may be able to act more swiftly, however it could endanger them all the quicker. I'll see how the class plays in the game I'm running and make some balancing tweaks.

I'm not an artist, so I'll leave that up to the qualified individuals. Let me know how the balance works out in your campaign. I'd appreciate any feedback, especially regarding balance.

I've got mine rolled up... now to get the chance to play it!
