Operative Weapons- Dex to hit and damage

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

So, in the process of making a character, I'm seeing some stuff about operative weapons that is a bit scattered.

Page 181 of the CRB says:

Quote:

Any character can add her Dexterity modifier rather than her Strength Modifier on melee attack roles with weapons with this special property.

And page 252 of the CRB says:

Quote:

...weapon damage rolls that rely on Dexterity (such as operative weapons)

So near as I can tell, this means operative weapons are Dex to hit and damage, right?
