I plan on running Starfinder for my own setting, and for those of you who have already aquired core rulebooks, are there rules for planet generation? If not, could anyone recommend a good planet generation system?
There aren't. Traveler has a decent system for generating planets. Some of the results are pretty goofy, but it gives you something entertaining to work with.

Could always use the stars without number generator, It basically creates a wiki you can edit for planets, NPCs, Corporations, government types, and tech level. You can download and use it locally, or upload it to the cloud so your players can collaboratively help fill it out.
