Yes, we're gaming in the Green Dragon Inn, Hobbiton! There are also plenty of other attractions, too many to mention here, but progressively added to
This thread is for all attendees to discuss what's on offer. If you're not attending, please don't clutter this thread with irrelevant comments. Useful, actionable advice welcome from any source.

Each round is a 2 hr timed slot with each team consisting of 4 players. Typically you have as many qualifying rounds as you need to have each team play (2 teams of 4 per round is preferred due to each table needing a judge) the 2 highest scoring teams go to the final round and the highest scoring team of that round is the winner. (Scoring is a secret so I can email you as much info as I have. If you need more I am sure Tanya has all the juicy details.)

Fantastic news! Tonya Woldridge, Organized Play Coordinator at Paizo, is attending PaizoCon Oz in October!
She is running retired scenarios not normally available for play (PFS 0-19: Skeleton Moon & PFS 0-25: Hands of the Muted God). She is also running a table at the Starfinder Special SFS 01-00: Claim to Salvation on Sunday afternoon.

oooo... I'd be up for one of those not-normally-available, who do I have to bribe?

You have to be a 3-star GM before I even acknowledge your existence :-)
Once I confirm the session times, all registrants can indicate their preferences in the lottery.

Yup assuming there is interest is all kinds of fun both for the GM and the players.

According to the
PaizoCon Oz Facebook event page, there are 96 people interested in attending PaizoCon Oz.
In our last month of Standard Registration, taniwha is still searching for players and GMs, guess where he is and win a 10-piece dice set (worth NZ$15), your choice of colour!
BUT you must pick up the dice in person at PaizoCon Oz
AND you may only win one set of dice
Post your guess to the Facebook event page above.
Where is he?

Lottery event preferences now live, all registrants should have received an email
Lottery events
There are limited seat events at PaizoCon Oz. These include author-run scenarios and Special Guest GMs. The fairest way to assign you to these events is by lottery.
Lottery events are assigned on Saturday, August 5. All current registrants are listed in random order. The first registrant on the list is assigned his or her 1st preference. If this 1st preference event is full, the 2nd preference event is used and so on. If lottery events are not full after the list is exhausted, the list is randomly sorted again, and the process repeats until all lottery events have 6 players.
By default you are not entered in the lottery.
You may give or swap your lottery place with someone else at any time by posting to this Paizo blog. You may abdicate your lottery place at any time by withdrawing from the Warhorn table.
Some lottery event information is not known at this time. Please indicate your preferences anyway.

If you are looking to give away your lottery-drawn events (as opposed to a swap), you can
1. EITHER withdraw from the table at any time, making your place available to whomever gets to it first
2. OR ask someone wanting to take your place to become the first Waitlisted place, then withdraw. This is the only exception to waitlisting for lottery events, because it doesn't persist.
If you want to swap, both parties must either post here with their real names - the second poster quoting the first - or use the general sign-up email button on the bottom right-hand side to email me directly. It may take 48 hours for the swap to occur.

Player seats at each tier show what places remain. Tiers 5-6, 7-8 are already full.
