How do The Fighting off Corruption boons work? Do I gain a corruption (corresponding to the boon) as per Horror Adventures, where I get a Manifestation and a Stain each level while working to have the stain resolved to get the completion benefit? Or do I only get the completed bonus once the three steps are done? I know that corruptions aren't normally allowed in PFS but was wondering if these boons modified that?

You reduce the Alcohol Level of a Thurston by one level for each successful attempt to fight off a Compton. When one has managed to achieve this ten times, one gets a Hung-Over Thurston, which can then be purchased via the Improved Familiar Feat?

Compton: Your scenario took much longer than expected and your party went far, far off the beaten path.
Penalty: The amount of time that you may spend talking in combat is quadrupled. This extra time may only be spent in role-playing; you may not discuss tactics. Reduce the amount of sleep you get each night by one hour.Task: Spend an adventure attempting to do exactly what the author expected the party to do. At the end of the scenario if the GM agrees that you followed the plot exactly as written you may check this box. You fail this task if you deviate at all, including such minor deviations as going to a merchant to buy supplies.
Task: Defeat an NPC whose box-text monologue is at least 100 words long.
Final Task: Complete an adventure without engaging in any roleplay whatsoever. Watch Compton cry.
Completion Benefit: When an adventure requires you to talk to various NPCs to gather information you may attempt a Will save (DC = 15 + character level) to have the GM simply tell you the information. However your fun level may never rise above the minimum for your character level.
