Boycott Green Ronin

Hello,

I know this is an unusual request but I am asking for a boycott of the company Green Ronin and all of their products for the unprofessional way one of their employees treated my friend in regards to a recent KickStarter, namely the person running it slandered them and called them a liar when they did no such thing and then proceeded to cancel their KickStarter order. This is wrong and immoral.

I propose this boycott until the following occurs:
1. My friend receive their KickStarter order, including the add-ons.
2. My friend's shipping costs for the order be reimbursed for all of the trouble they went through.
3. Green Ronin reprimand the employee. Personally, I think at a minimum that Green Ronin should refund all of the amount my friend spent on the KickStarter and take the money out of the employee's paycheck. Even then they would be getting off easy. I know that if I ever treated a customer like that employee did my employment would have been terminated on the spot.
4. The employee apologize to my friend on KickStarter and admit that my friend was not lying.

My friend does not know I am doing this but I am hoping if I can get the word out this travesty can be reversed.

My friend was experiencing many issues in regards to how their pledge was being handled, including:
1. Their order being marked as shipped but them not getting anything.
2. The digital downloads not being available when they were told they were and not showing up until after the person running the KickStarter looked at something on their end.
3. Several attempts at communication went unanswered.
4. At least two communications from Green Ronin implied that my friend's order would be shipped within a few days yet there was nothing.

To the person who ran the KickStarter - my friend asked me to read all of the emails and all of your KickStarter updates to make sure that they weren't missing anything. None of them explained the unique issues they were having. My friend does have proof that the order was marked as shipped - you sent it to them. My friend does have proof that you said Monday, May 7th would be the last day for a refund - again this came from you. My fried never implied anything about you persecuting them - that was you who said that. You are a liar and a bully and delusional. I read your response when you canceled the pledge - you are the one who refused to work things out, not my friend. You disgust me. There is evidence that came from you that support all of this but you are doing everything to keep the truth hidden.

As for my friend - this caused them so much stress that they suffered a rather nasty panic attack and ended up in the hospital.

After review, I've gone ahead and removed the responses in this thread and keeping it locked. Paizo.com is not a platform for filing complaints about other companies in our industry, and we will not facilitate drama surrounding other roleplaying game companies. It is completely inappropriate to bring private correspondence, especially between parties that do not involve Paizo, to our website. It is also very uncool to call for the termination of any industry employee and issue demands of our community in this way.
