Contradictory Information About Some Empyreal Lords

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Although I haven't checked all of them I just noticed a weird thing about Benorus and Vildeis. Both of them are listed as angel empyreal lords and they have angel in what little is written about them but Benorus has the Agathion subdomain and Vildeis has the Archon subdomain. SO I'm wondering which it is. Are they Angels or is Benorus and Agathio and Vildeis an Archon

This is an example of one of the weird ways subdomains work. The Agathion, Archon, and Azata subdomains from the Good domain are there to represent NG, LG, and CG alignments, as those celestials are those alignments. Angels, however, can be of any good alignment, and since there is not an Angel subdomain those empyreal lords provide the subdomains based on their alignment instead of the type of celestial they are.

Thanks a lot for that clarification.
