The Feast of Spoils - Craft check

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

DURING THIS SCENARIO
Create the blessings deck with 22 blessings and 8 shipwreck henchmen.
After you advance the blessings deck, if the top card of the discard pile is a shipwreck, summon a random ship and attempt a check to repair it. If you succeed, stash a plunder; if you fail, summon and encounter the villain, The Pirate Council.

Essentially all ship repair checks are craft apart from Deathknell, which is divine.
Can we as a party use Seltyiel to make the craft checks as no one else has the craft skill. If not, then any other character that reveals a shipwreck 'blessing' just skips straight to a charisma check which is kind of boring on our chances at stashing lots of plunder!

Any clarification would be appreciated!

According to the rules, the person who summons the random ship and attempts the check to repair is the person who advanced the blessings deck -- in other words, the person playing the current turn.

Note that you don't have to punt the check just because it is craft. Everyone can roll a d4 for any skill they don't have. (And does no one have a stat stone? Such as Emerald of Dexterity, etc.?) Look at your available resources and see if you can't boost the checks somehow.

That said, in the end if it's more fun for you your way, you could houserule it.
