Amsterdam area gaming

I'll be in Amsterdam starting 5/6 and would love to do some PFS while there. Are there any regular games in Amsterdam (or Hilversum)?

While we currently do not have regular play in amsterdam, we do have a regular game every Wednesday in Utrecht, which is easily reachable from amsterdam.

One of my fantasies is to make it out to the Netherlands, do a little tourist stuff and then hang out with all the great Netherlanders I've met here. I think you'll have a great time!

Thanks, Woran! I'll see if I can make that work. It might be hard—my research tells me it's a short trip from Amsterdam, but a long trip from Hilversum. I'm assuming I'd have to train back into Amsterdam and then catch a train to Utrecht.

I am working in Hilversum, so that's where I'd be starting my journey Wednesday night. I'm currently staying in Amsterdam across from the Amsterdam central station and taking the train each day to Hilversum. Maybe I can shuffle my plans and get a car, stay in Hilversum, and just drive to Utrecht that evening.

Depending on what train you catch, its a 15 or 20 minute journey by train from hilversum to Utrecht.
Its a direct journey, and the location we play at is 10 minutes walking distance from the train station.
After the game you can catch a direct train back to amsterdam central station.

As the GM of that particular session, it is absolutely no problem to run it in English.

I spent a couple months out there 2 summers ago, and got to play several times. Everyone at the games was very welcoming and friendly - like every Dutch person I met. They played in English for me, and no one missed a beat. Maybe I'll get back out there at some point. In the meantime, enjoy yourself.
