This post is just a PSA for those of you who use Hero Lab.

I use Hero Lab for character creation and I love it. Translating all the information from the sheet to the forums can be a pain, however. Except it's not because there's a button that will do it all for you and I've been doing it the hard way for no reason all along. /facepalm

If it's any consolation, I didn't notice the "BBCode" tab on "Output Hero Statblock" either until you just mentioned it.

I've been doing it the hard way for years as well!

Hey, everyone fails a Perception check once in awhile.

For you Roll20 users, they've actually worked up an import function for your HeroLab character sheets into their own character sheets.

Thanks for the tip, servant6! I think that this PSA could be made better with explicit directions, however.

In HeroLab, go to 'File'. Select 'Output Hero Statblock'. When that window pops up, select the 'BBCode' option. Copy or Save to File.

So easy, even I figured out how to do it!

For those of you bringing profiles from other places - especially offline - the Spheres of Power wiki has a BB Code Profile Template suitable for forums like this one. o wo/

...And yeah, Hero Lab has a nice automatic output. XD

Yeah, I've been using the template from this post. I like the spoilers to keep everything tidy.

Oh sweet jebus! I just now see this!
