But, on topic, any sort of weapon for the speedsters like the Flash and Quicksilver, so that they can actually do some damage, and not dish out a thousand ineffective smacks (or, as I've heard it called, 'a fat stack of jack'). Hitting someone with your fist at mach 1 would break every bone in your hand and arm, if you weren't also Superman-tough, so it would be a terrible idea to try to punch or clothesline people.
Considering that clearly the real-world effects of speed punches don't apply in comic book physics, smacking someone x1000 would do a lot of damage, even if each individual punch only did 1 point of damage. That's still 1,000 points of damage. On tv, at least, Flash can actually use his momentum to increase the power of his punches, not to mention being able to mangle someone by vibrating his molecules fast enough that he could phase his hand inside their body.
He's actually a pretty scarily powerful character. I can't really think of any magic items that would benefit him that much, though his tv incarnation could use a headband of wisdom.

Yeah I think specifically the speed force is suppose to fix all the physics issues. While superman's speed is still really dangerous which is why he can't go as fast as the flash in atmosphere anyways.(of course it varies wildly from writer to writer.) Otherwise you know when the flash approached light speed he would probably destroy the world in like 5 different ways including igniting the atmosphere and creating a giant fusion reactor wherever he went.
