Hey everyone..
just a quick question.I Want to close my recruiting thread (as I've seen other recruiting threads out there with closed in captions). How do I do that? Is it just a matter of going into campaign info thread and hitting the this campaign is no longer active pin?. Do I need to unset the thread?
Any advise is appreciated thx...

What do you mean by closed? Typically when people put *closed* in their recruitment thread that means that they're not recruiting (usually because it's a previously established game among friends). Why people do this never made sense to me. If you already know who you're inviting why not just open a discussion thread?
'This campaign is no longer active' is for when you want to flag the game as complete/inactive. The game won't actually go anywhere but it will make it fall off people's campaign summary tab on their profile.
If you're talking about the Recruitment thread itself, you don't have to do anything other that make a post stating that recruitment is closed and that you won't be considering any new characters. Something like:
"Recruitment is closed. I will make final decisions by Wednesday from the PCs that have already been submitted. It looks like I'm going to have some tough choices!"
An on that day, you make your selection announcement...
"Selection is complete! Would Kyra, Seoni, Merisiel, Harsk, and Valeros please report to the Duscussion thread. Thanks everyone for submitting a character!"
People should then pretty much start ignoring the Recruitment thread.
Yeah, the ones that you see that say 'Closed' started that way and are just groups of people already selected. It was never open.

I'm going to echo Feral here. The Recruitment subforum is for recruiting (who knew?), and if you've already recruited your players there's no need to make a recruitment thread. Just start with the Discussion thread.
On a tangentially related note, putting "Closed" into your Gameplay and Discussion thread titles also seems pointless, unless there's some epidemic of people dropping into games unannounced and unsolicited. (If there is, I haven't noticed it.)
