[WotR] Arueshalae's loot

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

Hello,
Reposting this from the BGG forums as our group is kinda of at a standstill. So my group just beat the scenario 'The Demon's Redout' and freed Arueshalae but we decided against playing her. Can other characters use the loot that was rewarded for beating the scenario [starbow, spherewalker staff, swallowtail bracers]even though they have the 'Owner:Arueshalae' descriptor? Thanks!

If they're playing good characters, they really should give her stuff back.

As for the card game rules... the owner descriptor pretty much mandates that the equipment is tied to her.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

The Owner trait only means that someone playing as Arueshalae may treat them as if they had the Basic trait. Otherwise you can do whatever you want with them once they're awarded to the group.

(This is more like a video game RPG, where someone thanks you for walking a letter across the village by giving you their treasured heirlooms...that you promptly sell to the merchant 5 feet away because the generic stuff you're carrying has slightly better stats. :)
