Unconventional Weaponry and Uncommon in PFS 2.0

Hello. Is there now any opportunity to get access to kukri in the PFS? Will the Unconventional Weaponry human Ancestry feat help? Yes, I know that he does not have Ancestry traits, but maybe it belongs to a different culture, like Katana, for example.

RAW, Unconventional Weaponry is awkward but RAI it essentially gives you access to any single weapon as long as you can justify it comes from a specific culture.

For Pathfinder Society Please don’t “justify” choosing an uncommon weapon by citing a culture unless a published (PF2) source explicitly states the weapon is common in that area. It puts the GM at each of your tables in the uncomfortable situation of having to judge your justification as valid or not. Not only can this cause inconsistency, it also leads to anger if a GM denies you access after others have allowed it. And possibly even “my character is built around that weapon, I’m useless, and I’m leaving if you don’t allow it.”

In a home game - sure, talk it over with your GM and come to an agreement.
