Wow. I'm glad Red Sonja is playing with Valeros now! Playing a bit rough I admit... :P

LOVE that new ranger archetype Erik Mona created for her! (I might... ahem... use this at some point... in the very near future... you see, our Hell's Rebels GM is very brutal... and Red Sonja's archetype makes her less gear dependant as well... she can... fight naked basically)

Scarab Sages

Because I collected the other Pathfinder comics, this was put in my pull box. I tried to read through it, but put it down about half-way through. Not sure why, but I just didn't care much for it.

Give it another chance Az. It may not be your traditional Pathfinder story, but it is pretty good.

Sovereign Court

Yes Az. The story gets particularly interesting towards the end... ;)

Scarab Sages

That's ok. I'll skip. I've been meaning to cut back anyway, and this seems to be one of the less interesting titles.

Sovereign Court

On that uplifting note! :)
...what are your thoughts on the sword devil archetype? I like the death vow a lot! very rangery meets cavaliery! :)

Right now I wonder what the next issue will have for us, crunch wise...

Next issue is all about the green martian.

Issue #3 will have the Warlord archetype and John Carter's stats.

Tars Tarkas's stats didn't fit in issue #2, so they'll probably appear in issue #5, where he plays a significant role (he's not in issue #4).

Content for #4 and #6 is still somewhat up in the air, but could very well be a new jungle lord archetype and Tarzan stats. I think I can fit those in a single issue. Tars was a challenge because he needed a new archetype and a new race.

Sorry the story didn't click for you, Aberzombie!

Meh. It happens. Hell, I even gave up on the new Doctor Strange series, and he's been one of my favorite characters for a good 25+ years.

Thank you for those insights Mister Mona!

I know that feeling. Some things that I have read for years no longer interest me. I think it sometimes has to do with the writer (Not you Erik), other times it is a rehash of old plots, and sometimes the story takes three time as much time as needed. Maybe I'm getting jaded.

Sovereign Court

The current context of things (which shall not be named) in general, is the cause of much drab lately. I prescribe coffee and ping-pong.

This is one of my biggest turn-offs about the current state of the industry. The vast majority of storylines seem to take no less than 4-6 issues (and often more) to reach any kind of fruition.

Bit of errata: Sonja's flat-footed AC should be 19, not 20.

Sovereign Court

wow... that's still pretty awesome, considering she's almost naked

I rather enjoyed the first issue, especially liked the sword-devil archetype for ranger and Sonja's write up.

The only thing I'm curious about is when does the second issue hit shelves? Everything's been mum on the Paizo Blog regarding Worldscape Workbook and with less than half the month left is this signalling that the comics are slowing down due to declining sales? Personally I hope not, I've found them to be consistently good with solid adventure ideas alongside good quality maps.

Issue 2 hit the shelves today.

Yep. It's on shelves and shipping from Paizo's warehouse presently.

Worldscape Workbook might resume as early as today, based on how some meetings and other things shake out.

First: Red Sonja.

Next: Conan?

EDIT: Oh!!!! GREEN MARTIANS!!!

Purple,

Yep and Fantomah.

I liked this issue, but still needs time to gel before I say I liked this better than Hollow Mountain.

Sovereign Court

Thomas,

I like 'em all. And right now, much, much better than all my Marvel titles!

O_O

Gasp! blasphemy?

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Can't wait til tomorrow when I can pick up the latest issue from my pull box.

Purple,

It's only blasphemy if you say this is better than either Unworthy Thor or Thor.

Avengers titles...meh.

You are going to drive me crazy Erik.
You end issue #1 with a cliff-hanger and don't finish it the next issue.
Very sneaky.

I did like the origin of the Worldscape.

Charles,

I think it's deliberate as they're building each character as it's own story/chapter.

I know. I'm just saying it was driving me crazy! ;-)

Prepare to be driven even more crazy by the end of #3!

And pretty much the entire issue for #4! :)

Will I need a straight jacket?

Charles,

I'm pretty sure we already need that. But yes I can't wait for #3 and #4. :)
