Moving to Miami Co. Indiana, looking for local Pathfinder group.

Local Play

At the end of the month, I'll be moving to Peru, Indiana, and am looking to find a gaming group in the area.

My experience with Pathfinder is very minor though I am a reasonably experienced role-player (and Deadlands gm).

Thanks in advance!

Miami County is in the Northeast Indiana Region. Their Warhorn is
HERE.

They also have a Facebook Page, Pathfinder Society of Northeast Indiana.

Currently, I don't think there is a Venture-Captain for that region. As well, I'm not sure if there are any gaming areas in Miami County but there are in Tippecanoe County (Lafayette), which is a different region.

Thank you! I'll have to check into these. The organization of PFS apparently went directly over my head as the concept of a Warhorn was foreign!

and this is why I like the map...

Bad news: nothing is THAT close..

Good news: you are smack dab in the middle of a bunch of different gaming options.

Different groups in indiana have different warhorns/brain centers.

The layfeyette warhorn

the indianapolis warhorn

The fort wayne website, also Gary if you want to hang a left after going north.

We don't have a Warhorn currently in Northwest Indiana, although we do have regular games twice a month at Lightspeed Hobbies in Portage, Indiana.

Portage is in the region with Lafayette. Maybe talk with your VC, Mike Costello, about adding you, or maybe create your own (if you want to do Warhorn, that is.)

My internet has just been turned on so I'd missed all these responses! Thank you very much for the information and all of the options will need to be looked into. :)

Please forgive the noob question, but what is Warhorn?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Warhorn is an online calendar/registration site that a lot of PFS lodges use. If you look through, it lists what games are being played where, and allows for you to sign up for them. It's a pretty popular tool within organized play, but isn't really used outside of it.
