Converting 4e Implements to Pathfinder

One of the only things 4e did that I actually liked was that it gave casters some interesting weapon options that affected their spells and weren't just sticks of 'casts some specific spells per day.'

Has anyone done a conversion of the implement rules for Pathfinder? I considered just making enhanced weapons work with spells but I have some concerns that some weapon properties would be overpowered on magic, especially area spells.

Scarab Sages

There is a cool example of a magic weapon that enchanted one specific spell in Inner Sea Temples. The Fist of the Pit is a +1 spiked gauntlet that can punch the ground and create a spiked pit. The gauntlets enhancement bonus and any damage enchantments such as flaming apply to both the gauntlet and the pit damage.
