Heya! Enjoying The first Strange Aeons AP a whole lot and I have come up with some ideas that may add a bit more flavor to your sessions. Let me know what you think:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
B13 (Laundry Room) Treasure: The book says that you find an eyeball that seems to roll on its own. It appears to have no use, but can be sold for 250gp. I didn't like the idea of having a "useless" item, so I added more flavor to it. 'When held by the retina stem, the eye begins swaying in a circular pattern. When a haunt is nearby, the retina will become taut and the eye will point towards the direction of the haunt.' (I took this idea from "Ghost Hunters". Some mediums carry a pendulum that will act similarly to show the presence of an apparition).
Upon a character going unconscious in a room where the hallway isn't visible: The unconscious character dreams of two small girls playing in the woods with a teddy bear. They see Briarstone Asylum on the horizon, and watch as the sky fades from blue to grey. They see a yellow fog pouring out of the chimney. The fog rolls rapidly towards the two girls and they run away, dropping the teddy in their haste. When the character wakes up and the party moves into a hallway, an ominous darkness falls over a previous section. The darkness is magical and cannot be seen through. If the party tries to enter the darkness, the spell dissipates, leaving behind a teddy bear with it's arm torn off.
After the party leaves behind a doppleganger body: If any dopplegangers are still roaming around the same floor as the party, they stow away their fallen comrades body, take its form, and lay in its place. The party may not suspect their prey returning to life, and this may cause some of the party members to fear returning to a room they previously thought was safe.

Let me know what else you guys added for flavor and if you like my ideas (tried them out tonight, and it worked fantastically)!
