I am assuming this is third party stuff, since I can't find it on d20pfsrd. I asked for advice on an Aegis before and someone mentioned the akashic, but I can't find anything on d20pfsrd and doing a Google search for "pathfinder akashic catalyst" isn't very helpful either

Akashic Catalysts are an item in Akashic Mysteries, to be used by veilweaving characters (daevics/gurus/viziers/aegis with the right customizations/etc). It makes it so that if you have essence invested in a veil placed on the same bodyslot then that veil acts as if it has extra essence invested into it.
Akashic magic and classes are 3rd party stuff and I believe from Dreamscarred Press.
The catalysts are veils worn over several body slots that help to improve akashic magic effects. They don't work for other characters.
A collar of skilled instruction (neck) allows to aid another at a distance, if you are a guru, vizier or daevic. A crusader's shield (hands) can protect your allies. There are about six pages of them and they play probably a similar role as psychoactive skins for psions.

There are twenty three pages of veils, and they don't have any similarities to psychoactive skins aside from the fact they are sorta-worn but sorta not.
So, I'm playing an Aegis, which means I get Deavic veils only, right?
I want to pick up Armory of the Conqueror, which increases damage die. I need to make a greater Akashic Catalystic, to increase the strength of the Armory veil by +3. Wrist slot also means I need to be level 7.
I need to have Chakra Bind, Improved in order to have a wrist slot veil to use Armory of the Conqueror. Then I need to get Shape Veil, Lesser to actually use a Veil, correct? Lastly I need to grab Ectoplessence and Contemplation in order to dump Essence to increase my damage die.
When I start to dump Essence that I get from Ectoplessence, how long does that increase for damage die stay for? Contemplation says I get it for a certain number of rounds, but if I dump say 3 Essence from the pool I got from Ectoplessence, how long does that size increase stay for?
This is starting to get long. Last direct question. If I can Shape Veil, Improved to have more Veils, can I get get an Armory of the Conqueror for both my Wrist and Hand slot in order to increase two weapons while 2WF?

You'd have to be 9th level for the improved chakra bind customization. Also, I don't know if you'll be able to afford a Greater Akashic Catalyst at mid-levels considering it's price.

You only need one, or get essence from another source like feats, fcb, or race. It's also important to note you can't use Contemplation and Ectoplessence on the same veil to much effect since they don't stack.

Essence invested into a veil from an essence pool (like the essence pool Ectoplessence provides) lasts until the veilweaver decides to reinvested it's essence into something else or until the veil is unshaped (like if you left your astral armour). So, it'd last all day.

No. "Even if the veil can occupy more than one chakra, you cannot have more than one instance of a given veil shaped at the same time."
I realize the cost of the item, was just making sure how everything worked.
I already have my Race as Elan, so no getting Essence there. I know with Psionics that if you have two different Power Point pools, you can't draw from both for a single use on some spell or ability, is it the same way for Essence?

You only have one Essence Pool, so essence from class features like your customizations would stack with other things that grant an essence pool such as taking a level in a veilweaving class or taking a feat that grants bonus essence.
Though they still wouldn't stack with abilities that set a veil to count as if they had x points of essence invested in them.
