So I have an idea for a campaign [The Harrowing / Dragon's Demand spoilers]

Adventures

So I have an idea for a campaign. Since I don't have the time to work on a custom one, I decided to tweak existing modules.

The idea I have is the following:

- Run Dragon's Demand pretty straight.

- Reset the party as if I had ended that campaign once it concludes. Do an unrelated 5th or 7th level module (which I still have to decide on! Listening on ideas.)

- Run the Harrowing... except that the creator of the kapenia is the Gnome from Dragon's Demand (reskinned as Varisian), the Dragon in the Harrowed Realm is the storykin version of the villain of Dragon's Demand, and some of the players' previous characters appear as storykin as well. I'm planning to have the connections to the previous campaign appear now and players gradually put the pieces together.

So, I ask for your help!

1. What's a good 5th or 7th level module (that ends at 9th level or something) that you recommend I run after the post DD reset?

2. What other good ways to connect the stories can you think of?

The Skinsaw Murders from the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path is an excellent adventure in roughly the right level range. It should be easy enough to disconnect it from the rest of the AP and fit into your campaign. If you want a perfectly executed haunted house and an engaging follow-up urban investigation adventure, pick this.

The same is true for Curse of the Lady's Light, the second chapter of the Shattered Star Adventure Path. Brilliant dungeon crawl in a very flavorful location.

Both of these adventures have the additional advantage of being set in Varisia, so you could easily insert little bits and pieces of the Varisian folk tales that are showing up in the Harrowing. Curse of the Lady's Light, however, mostly takes place in a Thassilonian dungeon so you would have to do some more work to work in the tales. There are plenty of NPCs that could be turned into Varisians, though, giving you voice to fill in some of the legends.
