Letting players play with a GM character

Grand Lodge 2/5

I have a question for you. Some of the people in my local club want to run the the Legend of the Seekers modules. But they are missing a player that is at the right lvl to play along. One of the suggested solutions would be that the GM hands a 4th player a lvled up character ( earned with her GM points)

The question is this legal, or would this also "corrupt" the achievements of the 3 legal characters?

Alas, you can't do this, and there are no pregenerated characters at that level either, They'll have to wait for a fourth player. Seeker arcs take time to muster. (I'm still waiting to play Eyes of the Ten...)

That is what I figured.

Just to be sure, with ruining it for the others, I meant would it void the adventures for the other people at the table. ( As opposed to ruin it having to play with someone who didn't earn their marks )

You almost need 2 groups to get a group into seeker range.

You could also bring someone in from online (the game is more machine now than man...)

Yes, it would void the game completely. You can't have someone play someone else's character at a legal PFS table, so the entire table is illegal, which would make the other three characters also illegal from that poitn on (since you can't play PFS-legal characters at non-PFS-legal tables).

Dark Archive

Or get the pregen player to dm and the dm to play and viola legal table.
