Light on Loot?

I am just wondering...

I have some players b%**@ing that they aren't getting the amount of loot that they are supposed to be getting.

Is this adventure path that light on loot?
I haven't done a full audit, but is this adventure path so light on loot?

Most parts are higher then average on loot. Over all a 4 person party will be well above WBL. The problem comes in some items skew the total WBL. With single items putting a character above their WBL. The other problem is a lot of what you find is consumables. If they are using all the consumables they find. They will eventually get below WBL.

I'm using pathfinder rules to run Age of Worms. In order to keep the group at the suggested level. I have added encounters and some loot with them. My group is just at the end of part 3. They are only 1/2 way to level 7. Part 4 assumes they will be level 7. So I will be running a side adventure with extra loot in it.

The other issue that can arise is some loot is concentrated in places where the team might not cash in. Examples from the first module: the owlbear cub and the loot underwater.

This certainly isn't the only module with these issues though. Many modules have the high value loot hidden behind secret doors or in places the team may not need to go to complete the plot arc.

We have a 3 person party with 2 Leadership cohorts. I needed to do one loot side quest (dragon with treasure horde outside of Magepoint). At 10th lvl one of the cohorts started crafting items full-time for several lvls :p

About to do an inventory of all the wealth (just completed Champion's Belt) but when i audited them after Three Faces of Evil they were well ahead in WBL. I did notice that a lot of wealth seems wrapped up in one item (ring of spell storing, ring of counterspells). Really XP was a bigger issue as someone already mentioned.
