GM reroll.

GM Discussion

Hello,

I am a new GM. I am GMing "Phantom Phenomena". One of my players told me he will use GM star re-roll. How does it work?

Thanks to everyone.

All of the details are available here: Re-Rolls

The details are:

"A player may display any of the products listed on this page and receive the following bonus: once per scenario, after you roll the dice, you can reroll 1d20 die; you must take the new result.

Additionally, when a player uses a free reroll, she may present her Pathfinder Society membership card (available on their My Pathfinder Society page) and receive an additional +1 for every GM star she has earned, for a maximum of a +5."

Any Pathfinder Society player can, once per scenario, reroll one d20 roll after it's made but before the result is announced.

They can only do this if they have one of the physical items listed on the reroll page (mostly Pathfinder shirts).

A GM who has attained a star ranking can add their number of stars as a bonus on that roll.

Shadow Lodge 4/5

As long as you've got one of those numerous reroll items(Character Folio, Faction t-shirt etc), you can reroll a d20 once per scenario or module. Your GM stars(if any) get added to the result as a bonus.

Note that the correct term for this is a "Merchandise Reroll"

I guess I must be flexible, If we are playing in PBP. I mean about the reroll.

The best way to handle it in PbP is to ask if they have a reroll item, and if they say yes believe them.

The GM reroll value is even easier. Look at their profile, it shows the number of stars they have earned.

Thanks to everyone.

As a GM, flexible is generally a good thing to be.
