Run, while you still can, to the Vigilantes of Horror Open Playtest for Purple Duck Games!

Now, the vigilante class can be applied to classic monsters hiding within civilized society. This pdf will allow players to get over their "monster envy" and become the mysterious beast that brings terror to the region. The horror vigilante is the perfect choice for evil campaigns or as an npc villain, with plenty of intrigue and horror talents to spare!

The playtest ends on 9/2/16. We welcome your feedback and suggestions.

like the Vampiryst archetype and simple question why make your prey insane I personally prefer them disturbed but sane so I can further torment them as necessary

I have included the "Torment Prey" talent in the Horror Vigilante Talents section. Please let me know if it fits your diabolical needs. Quality customer sick-satisfaction is our prime goal.

not what I prefer is still not there I mean you are monster you want the prey to suffer not breaking on first attack and gaining level in oracle class. you want them to always look into their shoulders checking their back as your monster self can be attack any monument
lets look at simple but dark scenario you are Vampiryst vigilante want to terrorize local churches priestess first you attack one of the priestess then use atrocity but not kill her because you are gonna terrorize her( she is disturbed but alive so she runs to prey) then you continue to attack her if needed killing her bodyguards in front of her because you want her to fear the inevitable fate gonna happen her as you close your fangs around her after some time you use your civilian identity( or many guise talent) to give her little bit hope convince the town folk to let you get near her constantly( this stage you don't attack her instead flash her that you are the monster that attacked her )
what you have is she is near to breaking point suffering from attacks but surviving by slim chance not able to convince townsfolk you are the monster attacked her then if you want kill her but my own advice let her willingly work for you ( make her loyal aid character)
the essence of what i meant in dich the permanent insanity from greater atrocity let it stay longer and force them to randomly relive the horror this at least allow you to keep powerful monster feel as deep fear of you becomes the tales and nightmares of the people

khadgar567, I see what you're going for, and admire your enthusiasm. But I think you'll be more able to get your desired effect through roleplaying, rather than relying purely on the game mechanics. I hope this helps!

A large hunk of superfluous text has been removed from the documents. Hopefully, it won't be as front loaded as before.
