I am in search of an experienced DM of the Pathfinder D20 system for a high powered game on Sundays or Mondays in the local area, depending on schedules and of course football schedules.
Allow me, if you will, to provide a bit of background and detail. Our gaming group rotates DMs between two primary people. This system, as I’m sure most of you know, has worked for many years, allowing for games to continue and no one DM to burn out, switching to the players side of the Screen as desired.
We have recently reached a situation where both DMs have characters that we would like to play together. Though we have played together for years, we have not had the chance to be on the same side of the DM Screen before. These two characters give us a great opportunity. Despite years of experience in our gaming group, none of our players have the experience to DM two characters as powerful and advanced as these. This is where you come in.
We are looking for a DM that is interested in leading a game for these two characters. We will have one additional player joining us as support. In the past, we have both played multiple characters in a campaign more often than not, and this is certainly up for negotiation. These characters range in ECL from 13 to around 15 or so and are heavily good aligned. As they are partially through their stories already, there are several pieces that you would need to be brought up to speed on, story hooks that you could use, intelligent items, custom races, a few spells that are being used, and of course, the infamous Fleshraker ported in from 3.5. Fear not however, the Fleshraker is hardly over powered in this party. The options for your story are endless.
What do we bring to the table you ask? A very good question.
The first answer is experience. We are not asking you to teach new players. You will have almost 90 years of D&D experience sitting at your table among the three players. We have stormed Castle Greyhawk, fought in the defense of Waterdeep and remember building characters when you could split your Strength between two types.
The second is a deep held respect for the DM Screen. Two of us are DMs. While we want to present our cases or challenge a ruling, once the DM speaks, the conversation is over. One rule we have used to great success is that a player has two to five minutes to state their case, other players have the same amount of time to respond and then the DM makes a ruling. Done. No further explanation is necessary. It is your world, we are just playing in it. That being said, I must confess we both have strong hopes and dreams for where and what, our characters are going, and doing. We do have a framework in mind for the story.
That brings me to the third thing we bring to the table; freedom within a framework. One of the characters you will have the pleasure to watch, has been chosen by the gods. She carries a greater artifact, a bow, with the soul of a Planatar voluntarily powering its magic. Having stood in the presence of a greater deity, been blessed by a Solar for their purposes, she has focused her whole life on hunting Devils and Demons and will probably join the ranks of the Greater Angels someday. Two of these characters have been to Hell itself and returned victorious. One has defeated a deity, been to level 30 and beyond, and then lost his powers to another deity. You have a lot to work with. And a lot to live up to.
Fourth; unity. There will be ZERO PvP in this group. We have all played those campaigns before, and enjoyed them to a point. This will not be one of them. We work as a team, under what we hope is good leadership. We are powerful, our enemies will be more so. In order to survive the trials ahead of us we must be united.
In addition to all of the above, we will happily supply all of the marijuana you can smoke during game as it is legal in WA state. Should we be in a public location, vape pens will be the order of the day, though always outside. In private, a nice selection of strains and types will be available for your relaxing pleasure.
Finally, we will be prepared for game. We have both had the experience of putting time and energy into a campaign just to have the players show up with no idea of what their characters do, no memory of what happened three months ago and no records. This will not be us. Our characters live in binders. I take notes meticulously. Every silver my characters have ever received or spend is recorded and kept. Every spell, every ability; printed out, ready for inspection at all times. Yes we all have laptops though there is something magical about a pencil and an eraser.
All three characters have the Leadership feat. Crafting and efficient use of resources are a big part of these characters. We have several house rules for your review that we have used in our campaigns governing the making of gold and items. We do NOT craft simply for profit. That is a good way to destroy a campaign quickly, unless the campaign is built to support an economy. Not an easy task to do, and not what we are asking of you. In all honesty, only one of us would really get into that part of the game anyway. All of these details can be discussed as we get to know one another.
We ask that any DM that may be up for this type of challenge enter this with an open mind as we know we must be. You should be experienced in adjusting a campaign to the party or writing your own. Please allow us to state our case, then be firm in your decision. Control the table, and above all else, play WITH us. Not against us.
We are greatly looking forward to scheduling a session to see if we all play well together. If I have peaked your interest, please respond here or send me a message. If you would like to meet these characters let me know.

I would be interested in learning more if you are still available as either a GM or player.
I still have a good collection of 1st Ed D&D material, Greyhawk, forgotten Realms, 2nd 3rd, editions and switched to Pathfinder 5 years ago or so.
I tend to favor actual role playing vs hack/slash style and as a GM enjoy watching charters evolve from novices to leaders.
I am interested in learning more, cheers
