Pathfinder Statues

What do you guys think about Paizo doing a series of high-quality statues of the iconic Pathfinder heroes? Something like the $100 range of 9-12" statues on Gentle Giant or similar site. I would totally pay $100 for a nice statue of Seelah!

I too would love a Seelah statue, especially in the imagery of the Ultimate Campaign cover. The idea as a whole could be quite risky as the appeal of every iconic is different. The debate of whether there is a viable market for a person who not only likes a certain Iconic but is also interested in seeing a high quality statue of said Iconic is unknown, but I assume small. With that said, count me in should it ever happen.

I don't see a large enough market to cover the cost... Many Comic stautes end up getting sold at a loss on eBay. Depending on the type of statue, $100 could only get you a 6 inch. Most of the 9 to 12 inch statues I've seen lately run in the $150-199 range. TBH - the closest I see happening is a resin bust (possibly by reaper - they have some really detailed busts, but theirs are unpainted)

Maybe Eaglemoss could do something. They have a history with a wide variety of franchises -- Marvel and DC comics, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek -- doing smallish statues for a very affordable price.

There is pretty much zero chance of us doing that ourselves, but we'd be thrilled to have an established company do them under license!
