Sorcifically, I'm interested in the Italiano version of the Beginner Box (Pathfinder Gioco di Ruolo: Set Introduttivo) both the box and PDFs. Does anyone know how?
All I find is eBay but I prefer a more reliable source.
On a side note, it seems to me the translations are a key selling point. I would think it would make sense to sell such product on this site and press that advantage, expanding the player base use of this site.

While we do carry some of our translation licensees' PDFs, the fact is that their books are not in English, but this website is. Also, the primary customer base for these products is not within the US, and international shipping is relatively expensive. In short, paizo.com is not exactly the ideal place for the target audience.

Thank you for the reply. I suspect there are some partnerships that, if the volume of sold translated product increased enough, could help with distribution costs and inventory.
I guess I'm suggesting, in addition to selling such product, is that you could significantly expand your reach if you weren't an English only website. PF could become a stronger global brand. I don't see any other gaming company in our hobby having trying to do that. I get there would be some expenses associated (to write blogs, monitor message boards, etc.) but it could pay off big. I suspect there are many market growth opertunities.

I think that this partnership is already there in form of the relationship between Paizo and their licensees. Here in Germany it's Ulisses Spiele who distribute their translations in the german-speaking part of the world. It's actually much more easier and cheaper then to ship the stuff to the U.S. just to ship it back to the customers (and I guess that the market for those translations outside of the german-speaking part of the world is very small indeed).
Ulisses also promotes the game at their website, at conventions (and partly at other boards as well. So I'm not sure what Paizo could do at their site to help the brand at this part of the market which isn't already done by their licensee.

One must also remember that as far as D&D/PF goes, 70-80% of the market is US/Canada, 20-30% is ROW. And a large chunk of ROW is UK, AUS, NZ and the EU, where perhaps except for FRA and ITA everybody in the target group (20-35 yo geeks) speaks English.
You could say that investing in foreign translations could improve that, but the thing is that while in the US/Canada D&D (and by extension, PF) is the "default" RPG and a large chunk of player base never touched any other system, over here in the United Communist Lands of Yurp D&D is just one of many systems - Germans have DSA, Brits and Poles swear by Warhammer and so on.
So at the end of the day, the ROI on getting anything done towards expanding PF outside US/Can is poor. That's why you aren't seeing Paizo having an European office or whatanot.

I figured it might be worth mentioning here that it is on my radar to make it more obvious for folks to find the translated versions of our products that we do carry through the webstore when browsing :)

It might be worth noting that the Italian community site 5clone works closely with Giochi Uniti, and co-hosts the official Italian PRD with Giochi Uniti. There's also an Italian wiki named Golarion Insider that translates content from PathfinderWiki and d20PFSRD.

Excellent. That seems like a good idea. Maybe even add a resource page with links like are in Garrett's post for all languages that have such resources.
