I finally started session zero of my spacefaring campaign.
I'm giving a shout out to the things that were popular at the table.
"Plastic was from Fantastic Technology and effectively is mithril that doesn't adjust the armor category and actually makes the armor cheaper, so rather than make adjustments from Anachronistic Adventures this just made armor better and cheaper by material conversion. It also made melee combat actually possible with a higher variety of weapons which was big for everyone. The technological modifications allowed players to dip deeper into the technological while still having a foot in comfortable and familiar territory.
"I have one class from It Came from the Stars (Starseed), two psionic classes (Soulknife and Psychic Warrior), two from Anachronistic Adventures, (Enforcer and Cogiator), and one from Classes of NeoExodus (The Host). "
Treasury of the Machine also made a bit of a splash for filling in for a few items that were needed but didn't exist yet.
Shout out to Hypercorp 2099, which although isn't actually available yet I was able to incorporate the concept of the Hypernet as a dimensional-based digital world and I lifted the names of a few Hypercorporations as big players in the campaign setting. Not only were these concepts I was able to lift but were big hits as some players even wanted to interact with it as part of their backstories necessitating that everyone start with a comset and a Hypernet modem that connects to wifi hotspots so that some players could upload their adventures to their blog.

Eeeeeee that sounds great! Gotta love the Hypernet! :D
Which hypercorporations did they go for? I have logos for all of them at this point and can send them over if you need to make some mock memos or something (could be a sweet player handout). Also, it sounds like they will love the Xypher server. ;)
Hypercorps 2099 will be ready soon -- right now we're waiting on CreateSpace to either accept the Pathfinder file or kick it back, and I am right now putting finishing touches on the 5E version (so there might be a dual release on the way). :)

At the moment they haven't joined any of the actual hypercorporations. They're just aware of the source of their products, some names and the general concept. At the moment they are working for a company I made up called Phish Mining and running a mission for them. I've also made up SafeSyrve as their hypernet provider. They are aware of Terra Firma and Idigitech. I'm mostly pulling names from a pick that was uploaded on the kickstarter at some point and making things up since the book isn't out yet.
As far as the hypernet goes they are aware of Thrillville, DataCorps and I added that the Hypernet coincidentally is where Leng is located but as a non-save server and a server that is only accessible by hyperjacking it is nightmarishly dangerous. How I modified my explanation of it was a dimension that was a byproduct of connecting servers between planets via Hypergates, space teleporters that transport ships between systems via hyperspace. (hence the name Hypernet.) Although visual and audio data is shared via the hypernet it's maintenance and appeal lies in the Hypernet servers that can be jacked into. SafeSyrve is among the several heavily defended servers that is meant to be a save space for hypernet activity but outside of a safe server is a vast dimension of hackers, private servers and inter-dimensional creatures such as hyperviruses, ghosts, Scions of Order, and the denizens of Leng.
