Super Basic Card Game Question

Bought the game yesterday, so be gentle.

Balazar's cohort, Padrig, says in part "you may put a card on top of your deck to add your Arcane skill..." My question is, put a card on top of your deck from where? I'm assuming hand, but I can't find anything that addresses it in the rule book. Help!

Yes, from your hand.

On pg 10 of the current rulebook:
"If you are instructed to play, reveal, display, discard, recharge, bury, banish, or otherwise manipulate a card, that card must come from your hand unless otherwise specified." That covers it with manipulating a card.
