Anybody else feel like if you saw the character sheet for your life you would wonder WHAT the player was thinking?
"Why am I a Shaman? I have an 8 for Wisdom. You took the Cackle hex but none of the hexes that it works with..."
"How needs FULL points in Knowledge Pokémon???"
"I am both surprised and confused by the fact that I am level three. How did I get to level 3? And if we are summing up life experience why am I not HIGHER than level 3???"
"I have spent an awful lot of money on non-essential consumables and my armor choice of 'clothes' is highly questionable."
Maybe my player has a different style than I am used to?

In my case, it would be:
"Why the $%&*@# do you keep giving me ranks in useless Knowledge skills?! My ranks in Knowledge (Engineering) seem like an afterthought!"
"Really?! Weapon Focus (Swiss Army Knife)?"
"Why do you keep taking the first feat in feat trees, but NONE of the others?!"
"Why does my Will save keep getting worse when I go up a level? What are you doing?"
"Why is the only spell I have Got Your Nose?"

"Why do I have a Masterwork computer but NO ranks in Knowledge (Computer Science)?... I KNOW what I use that for... There will NEVER come a time when that +2 is necessary!"
"Is this NE alignment thing something that was there at creation? Or did I earn it through role play?- I feel like I am not having the amount of fun a NE character should be having?"
"I don't see anywhere on this sheet where you have listed my familiar?... He also isn't listed allies... Or gear... What? What do you mean a HIRELING??? Hired for what? I am paying him to dispose of his waste?!?!?!"

I've made character sheets for myself. More than once.
I've run alot of White Wolf games, and I realized that new players sometimes had trouble figuring out what their character would do in a given situation, but they could say what they themselves would do. So, I thought why not have people play as themselves? Since WoD is basically a dark reflection of the real world, it's easy to blend the two.
Making oneself as a character is an interesting exercise in self-awareness and personal history. Comparing the differences from over the years shows me ways that I've changed. Of course the accuracy isn't perfect, but it is informative nonetheless.

"You put C#, F# and Javascript down for languages? Do people actually speak those?"
"Why is Java listed under 'Known but Forbidden arts?'"
"What the hell does a programmer need 3 levels in swordfighter for?"
"GAWDAHMNIT TIM. 'EXTRA LARGE HEAD AND HANDS' IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE FEAT CHOICE"
"You charge the Ford Pickup headfirst at 50 miles per hour. Roll for damage - no Tim you need more dice than that IT'S A GAWDHAM PICKUP INTO YOUR FACE AT 50 MILES PER HOUR"

I've done this with a lot of different systems, too.
Asking what hardened and failed Madness Meter notches someone has in Unknown Armies is one of the most revealing things about people I've ever been involved in that wasn't actual psychological testing.

Weapon Focus (longbow), Knowledge (nature), Max survival, wait...why am I a druid when I work in an IT office? It is probably bad that I did not take Skill Focus (linux), that would have actually helped.
Totally out of my element, because I am always out of the elements, in a cubicle. Is there a cubicle druid archetype?
