I am looking to see what if any Prestige classes can work with a Kineticist. I found this on the "Giant in the Playground forum." What are the thoughts and opinions on these:
KINETICISTS AND PRESTIGE CLASSES
-Kineticists are apart from traditional spellcasters and as such do not always qualify and advance for those available to more common magic users.
-Levels in kineticist qualfy a character for prestige classes with the following entry requirements.
A caster level requirement, if no type (excluding psychic) is specified.
Ability to cast spells of X level, if no type (aside from psychic) is specified.
Ability to use wild talents of X level, or a specific wild talent. None exist yet, to my knowledge, but here it is.
-Levels in kineticist do not qualify a character for prestige classes with the following requirements:
A caster level requirement where the type is specified, unless that type is psychic.
Ability to cast spells of X level where the type is specified, unless that type is psychic.
Ability to cast spells where the school is specified.
Ability to cast a specific spell, even if a wild talent exists with a similar effect.
-When advancing in a prestige class that states "+1 level of existing spellcasting class," "+1 level of existing psychic spellcasting class," or "+1 level of existing casting class," a kineticist adds those levels to his kineticist class for the purpose of determining his effective kineticist level when using wild talents, and for the purpose of gaining new wild talents.

As the one who wrote it, Im sorry to have delayed as much as I have in noticing this and responding. Let us begin:
The purpose of those rules are to make it so that there is an abundance of options without interfering too much with certain flavor elements. I think they are fairly solid, but I'll admit they have received 0 input, and likely have never seen table use.
The options, since last I checked, and my (perhaps biased) thoughts on them:
Arcane Savant: Lower HD and BaB, and a 6/7 caster. That having been said, there are some interesting abilities from it, and if you have a wand you really want to use a one level dip could make that easier... But generally it really isn't worth more than a passing glance.
Demoniac: Same HD and BaB, but a 9/10 caster.. You give up one level of your wild talent advancement to gain; Bonuses to ability scores on command (Constitution or Dexterity being big ones to consider), abilities based on your chosen demon lord, some summoning, and the ability to turn into a demon temporarily. I think its worth taking, or at least looking at.
Envoy of Balance: Lower HD and BaB, but a full caster. Incisive spells should work in your favor when spell resistance gets invoked, Contravening Armament might as well. Over all, not entirely worthless, but you do take a minor hit for it. If you somehow aren't dealing with burn, this becomes a better option.
Hell knight Enforcer: Same HD and BaB, and a full caster. Aside from a wasted feat.. you really have next to nothing to lose for taking this.
Master of Storms: Same HD and BaB, but a 7/10 caster. For thematic reasons, enter with access to air or water. Sure, you might find yourself a little behind in some regards, but it looks fun so consider it.
Soul eater: Lower HD and BaB, and a 8/10 caster. As much as I like the prestige class, I wouldn't recommend it for kineticists. You may get something out of it, and there is a little, but spellcasters put it to greater use.
Sphere walker: Same HD and BaB, and a full caster. I don't really see much of a reason to avoid it to be honest.
Tattooed Mystic: Lower HD and BaB, and a 7/10 caster. Two wasted feats to get tools that don't work with being a kinetics.
Umbral Mystic: Same HD and BaB, and a 7/10 caster. It isn't perfect, but with only one wasted class feature, and that being for a useless bonus feat, It is worth investigating.
