I personally had great fun with a Magaambyan Arcanist (prestige class). A buffer or debuffer works great in this one. Blaster less so because of silly demon resistances/SR(Though you can do it with the right spells).
But with Mythic SR should not be too much of an issue.
Summoning is ill advised. Planar binding can work if you call the few creatures with mythic tiers.
And I hope that your GM is willing to put a lot of work into this or it will be a cake walk.
So be sure to talk to him/your group on how silly the Mythic stuff is going to be. And be sure not to overdo it once you get into level 10+.
At tier 1, you literally become Schrodinger's Wizard.
That said: I would dual path Archmage/Guardian at tier 1. There is no reason for a mythic wizard to be fragile.
Absorption + Enduring Armor + Mirror Dodge
Beyond that go nuts. There are lot of things that can be done with mythic.
