PAX East 2016, April 22nd - 24th 2016

Good Evening Pathfinders,

I wanted to let everyone know that will we will be running the quest format like we have the last 2 years. I am just confirming our location, I was told it would be the same as last year.

Just a question here... I'm going to PAX for the second time, and the last time I went three years ago, I wasn't involved in Pathfinder Society.

So, what is the quest format, and are Pathfinder Society events for PAX East 2016 posted here, on WarHorn, or EventBrite?

Hi Tim,

When the Boston Lodge Started running at PAX East in 2012 we tried Scenarios split into smaller chunks but because we had people not able to finish those Scenarios due to seminars or other events they were attending.

In 2014 when came back to PAX East we decided to run a different format and we ran the Beginner Box Quests and Card Game Demos, this seemed to work fine. Once we made a table of 4 for the Quests we started the game.

In 2015 we had more quests to choose from running Goblin Attacks, Silver Hex, Beginner Box Quests with We Be Goblins Prepped for those with a longer time frame. This year will be the same we are going to drop the Beginner Box Quests, and Run Silver Hex, Fane of Fangs and Phantom Phenomena. We are also planning on running Demos of the PACG.

We will provide PreGens for people so they do not have to bring anything but a pencil. Dice and Minis can be bought on site. Reaper is going to have a booth 2 down from were we are.

We run from opening to close all 3 days.

Awesome! So no sign-ups or schedule, it's just first-come first-serve, and all level 1 quests? Also, any boons or anything like that?

First Come, First Serve.

Level 1 Pregen Quests and Level 4 Quests(Fane of Fangs)

There will be boons Not sure what we have yet. But if you complete a Questline you get a boon has been our policy.

Thanks so much for the information... so people can bring their own characters for a level 4 quest, or is that pregen-only too?

Right now the Level 4 Quest is Pregen Only we are looking at running Scenarios at night after 6, Stay tuned we are still in planning.

Update to PAX East 2016 Events

We will have 8-10 face cut-out standups for you to take your picture as one of the Pathfinder Iconics.

The PAX East 2016 PAX Port for you to play to earn Boons and Prizes.

Season of the Shackles: Adventure #0-1 Lost at Sea and #0-2 A Pirate's Life

PFS RPG Events
PFS Quests: Silverhex Chronicles and Phantom Phenomena(Chronicle Sheet Events)

As well as a series of quests put together by the PFS PAX East Team "Winding Path" dealing with a Mysterious cult causing mayhem across Golarion.

Had a blast GM'ing at PAX, thanks for the opportunity!

While it was a bit slow in the morning (people wanted to see the new shiny video games) it really picked up around noon and got crazy at night after the exhibit hall closed at 6.
