These guys should be statted up as juvenile or young adult black dragons.
A trio of young adult black dragons have taken up residence in the Slough. They quarrel with each other almost constantly, but they are beginning to turn their eye to the surrounding swamp. They are also looking for mates, and are the source of dracolisks and other half-dragon beasts that occasionally rise from the swamp.
Trichshar, the eldest, is aggressive and arrogant. He is most interested in “taking a dragon’s proper place” and ruling the swamp. He consider himself the natural leader, and he is the dragon most likely to try to raid human settlements in or near the swamp. He’s starting to like the idea of turning the boggards of M’Botou into his army. This may bring him into conflict with N’Gara.
Ninerveh, the middle dragon and the only female, is quite vain. She has started collecting mirrors -- the more jewel-encrusted the better -- that she might look admire her beauty. Heavily into illusion spells. She is most susceptible to bribery. She has taken to raiding the occasional merchant caravan that braves the swamp and demanding their treasure.
Ch’Shem, the youngest of the three, is a randy beast. He’s been mating with nearly anything that will stay near him, and is actually responsible for some of the dragon half-breeds (particularly dracolisks) that infest the area. He’s currently interested in finding a mate, and is ardently pursuing rumors of another black dragon somewhere in the swamp. He also speculates that the monster in Lake Hooktongue may be a dragon itself, and he may soon investigate.
