I have no idea why it is doing this. I am copying the link exactly

Yeah, the space is not there when I edit the post, but when I post the changes it is there again for some reason.

Thanks. For some reason I thought the simple forum codes would not work on these message boards >.<

RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16

It's way too strong. At 1st level, he gains medium armor, 1st level spells, full BAB, spell combat, arcane pool, another good save...basically, it's better than the normal magus in every way at 1st level. At later levels, it's better than the magus aside from less spell levels and loss of spell recall. But they get a lot of other stuff, too.

You need to keep in mind that the magus gains spellstrike, spell combat, arcane pool, and other such powerful offensive abilities specifically because they're not a full BAB class. Making them full BAB completely removes that trade off.

And if you intend to make it a full BAB + 4-level spellcaster, you should follow either the paladin's or medium's spell progression. If you give them 1st level spells at 1st level, you end up making them incredibly overpowered and an obvious 1st level dip.

Good feedback. Currently I am working on the 0.2 v, I am cutting out the spells, spellstrike and spellcombat entirely. I will be focusing on the class specializing in arcane pool abilities and giving it more of its own arcana.

Dotting. I am also working on a full martial 'arcane knight' sort of class - I'll take a look at this later!
