I just added a new payment method which did put a pending charge on my card, yet instantly marked it as declined? Why is that?

Hello Emn1ty,

It looks like the card is having some trouble with the Address Verification portion of processing. Since this will require verifying your address, I'm going to go ahead and send you an email with more details, rather than post it on the messageboards.

In the meantime, I've issued reversals for any pending authorizations and those should fall off of your card within 1 - 5 business days. If you'd like to read up more on our authorization process, you can check out our FAQ here.

Keep an eye out for my email, and let me know if there's anything else I can help you out with in the meantime.

I've updated the payment method, is it possible to retry this transaction?

Yep! I just tried it again and it looks like the authorization was able to go through just fine this time. The order should be pending now, and shouldn't have any troubles once the warehouse reaches it in the shipping queue.
