Adventure Path with a Nature Boys & Girls

Pathfinder Adventure Path General Discussion

Hello,
I was just wandering will there ever going to be an adventure path being made with a nature's theme. I mean with a story line far far a way from the streets of Magnimar, Korvosa or any other metropole, but in to the wild.
With monsters like fey's, satirs, treants and/or other natural enemy's.

You know an adventure path where a druid or a ranger would really feel at home ! With A bonfire and some marshmallows like real boyscouts :)

Kingmaker. What you're looking for is Kingmaker.

Seriously though, it's an AP of exploration through the wilds of the Stolen Lands.
Fey and animals are there a plenty.
While the overall goal is to forge a kingdom, a druid fits right in as they attempt to keep the urban sprawl in check and balance with the natural world.
having played through it to book 3, it seems like the AP you're looking for.

Kingmaker comes closest- even if it is, as the twitchy Tarrasque notes, about carving a nation from the wilderness.

As most APs presume a good or neutral party, you generally don't throw down with treants, but there are plenty of nasty fey.

It's definitely the most likely fit for the perceivable future.

Thirding for Kingmaker. Lots of wilderness to explore where Druid/Ranger tricks will come in VERY handy, lots of fey to tangle with, a fair amount of undead for the naturey folks to get righteously indignant about, lots of animals (including a few Awakened ones!) and wild beasts to interact with, and so on and so forth.

Next to Kingmaker, I recommend Serpent's Skull.

A note of caution for the first installment of Serpent's Skull: There's plenty of room for roleplay, but since the first installment is basically a sandbox, there's not that much to kick it off. The GM has to be ready to roleplay the few NPCs they get for all they're worth.

Reign of Winter comes close too.

Wel I have heard about Kingmaker but haven't read or have it. But there is some suspicion about it because I'm afraid it looks a little like the old school AD&D spinoff Birthright (what a real trauma was) :-)

About all it has in common with Birthright (which I loved, but your mileage clearly varied) is the basic concept of running a nation.

It's more like Companion D&D Test of the Warlords.
It and KM are excellent if you like that sort of thing.
I do!

In addition, what nobody has mentioned about Kingmaker is that, if all you want is the wilderness, you can skip the kingdom-building. The AP has sidebars telling you what to do if you want the PCs to stick to adventuring, and how to represent the kingdom growing in the background.

Other than that, I'll echo LizardMage in recommending Serpent's Skull. If wilderness is what you want, it arguably has even more than Kingmaker - it's a different sort, though, with shipwrecks and island survival, deep African Garundi jungles, ruined ancient cities, and an underground city-in-decline full of monsters.

Thanks everybody i'm going to give Kingmaker a try.
