So if Kyra has pillar of life and plays it on her turn, she will have to attempt to recharge it at the end of her turn. So /she/ could use it in place of her first exploration to heal or, during other explorations, add to checks. But nobody else because that triggers and the end of her turn.
Could she play it on, say, the next person's move step so they could use the abilities on the card? Then it hangs out for all the other players' turns until the end of Kyra's turn again?
I think there's something in the rules I'm missing about how this mechanic should work. A nod/quote in the right direction would help. Thanks!

This card can be played on someone else's turn. It is banished/discarded/recharged at the end of your turn, so it sticks around until then.
Display this card next to your location. While displayed, each character at the location adds 1d8 and the Magic trait to his checks against banes that have the Undead trait. Any character at that location may shuffle 1d4+1 random cards from his discard pile into his deck instead of the first exploration of his turn. At the end of your turn, if you do not have the Divine skill, banish this card;otherwise, you may attempt a Divine 14 check. If you succeed, recharge this card;if you fail, discard it.
