There's something that irks me about the original animal shamans found in the advanced players guide. A lot of the domain options don't seem particularly focused on that animal, and are more focused on what that animal symbolizes. Which is okay, I guess, but I believe, especially with the inclusion of Animal and Terrain domains, that they could be better representations of the animals these Shamans revere.
For the Eagle Shaman, I'd include the Eagle domain, the Feather Subdomain, and perhaps the Vulture domain.
For the Bear Shaman, despite there being no Bear Domain, the Arctic Domain gives aspect of the bear as a domain spell, the Fur Subdomain seems more specific to a predator like a bear than the animal domain, and I'd round that out with the Cave Domain, for what bear can turn down a nice warm cave to hibernate in?
The Lion Shaman would get the Panther Domain, the fur subdomain, the jungle domain and the plains domain. I feel this is a fair group of domains for a class surrounding felines.
The Serpent shaman I'd give the Serpent Domain, Swamp domain, and allow for both the Scalykind Domain and the Venom Domain.
And finally, for the Wolf Shaman, I'd include the Fur Subdomain, the Wolf Domain, the Arctic Domain and the Moon Domain.
If anyone else as other ideas for more combinations, I'd love to hear them
