That's right kids, its time for Winter War again. We have an awesome schedule jammed full of fantastic gaming again this year including over 80 tables of PFS featuring 6-98 Serpent's Rise (4-star exclusive), 6-99 True Dragons of Absalom (5 star exclusive), and 7-00 The Sky Key Solution (GenCon Special).

And to push the AWESOMESAUCE over the top, we have secured a special guest...
Nathan King, author of such titles as 5-13 Weapon in the Rift, 6-07 Valley of the Veiled Flame, and the quest series Fane of Fangs will be in attendance to run his soon to be released (Jan 27th) new scenario 7-15 The Deepmarket Deception. What better way to experience the adventure than with the author himself!

I know we'll see you there cause its January...in Illinois...what else would you be doing :-D

What are the approximate costs (badge + hotel rate), for those of us considering trying to make a trip? Thanks in advance!

A full weekend badge is only $15 and event tickets are only $2 for most events. See the Winter War webpage for specifics.

The venue is the Hawthorn Suites hotel.
At the time of this post they still have both single rooms ($89.99/nt) and double rooms ($99.99/nt) available, but they typically fill up well before the event so don't wait too long to reserve. There are a few other hotel options in the general area, but I am not familiar with them specifically.

The webpage didn't have a lot listed (like the fact that you need event tickets in addition to badges), so thanks very much!

If you look at the Event Listing pages they show the event price next to the event stat block. I don't know if it shows in the Event Registration right away or pops up when you process through the system. Not sure how intuitive it is. Because I am listed as a default GM in every slot, I cannot register for any events so I don't know what it looks like. AFAIK, the total cost should reflect at the end when you go to pay for both your badge and events.

And to make the line-up even more amazing, we have also confirmed that author Andrew Hoskins will be in attendance to run his scenario 6-18 From Under Ice.

GM slots are filling up fast so if you want all the perk that come with GMing, don't delay. Of course, the con is relatively inexpensive so even if you miss out, it shouldn't be a financial burden.
