Why does the PACG rulebook list this for the credits?
Based on Wrath of the Righteous By Matthew Goodall, Tim Hitchcock, Jason Nelson, Richard Pett, Neil Spicer, and Greg A. Vaughan
If the covers of the modules themselves are accurate Amber E. Scott, James Jacobs, Jim Groves, and Wolfgang Bauer are missing, while Matthew Goodall, Tim Hitchcock, and Jason Nelson are getting credited in their place.
Is there some other determination being used to attribute credit I'm unaware of? I haven't crawled through the title pages to determine who wrote what sections of the modules yet.
Those are the six authors of the S&S modules. Looks like someone forgot to copy/paste the right ones when they started from the previous set's rulebook. (That never happens! :)
I noticed the Skull & Shackles connection too. I didn't call it out when I asked my question because I held out hope there was another explanation, which there wasn't in this case.
