Cards displayed next to locations that are banished

The Grinder and the Battlebliss both have features where the location is banished.

What happens to cards displayed next to that locations, like the Mist Horn?

If you look at those locations and the scenarios that cause the location to either be banished or cease to exist, you'll see that this happens after it is closed. So items like Banner of Valor trigger when the location is closed before the location is banished.
